Former JMU coach Everett Withers takes job with New York Giants | National

A couple weeks immediately after accepting a work to grow to be the defensive coordinator at Florida Worldwide, previous JMU head soccer mentor Everett Withers is envisioned to be the future defensive backs mentor for the NFL’s New York Giants.

Withers, who replaces Lou Anarumo immediately after he joined the Cincinnati Bengals as their new defensive coordinator, was most recently the head mentor at Texas Condition. Compiling a 7-28 file in four seasons, Withers was fired suitable in advance of the end of the 2018 higher education soccer year.

Whilst manning James Madison soccer, Withers managed an 18-7 file with a 12-4 in-conference file. The Dukes had been co-conference champions in his ultimate year, and he managed to consider them to FCS playoffs in both of his seasons.

Prior to signing up for JMU, Withers had served the job as interim head mentor in 2011 at North Carolina, filling in immediately after head mentor Butch Davis was dismissed amid a number of violations.

This won’t be Withers 1st style of the NFL, as the Charlotte, North Carolina, native expended 6 seasons as the defensive backs mentor for the Tennessee Titans (2001-06) and was also a defensive quality command mentor for the New Orleans Saints in 1994.
