New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (quad) has missed the team’s last two games and it’s still uncertain whether he’ll play in this week’s game against the Colts in Indianapolis.
But the Giants aren’t about to shut their $90 million dollar man down. They are holding out hope that he can return to the field this year.
Beckham sustained the injury on the final play of the Giants’ Week 12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on a leg whip from linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill, who was not penalized on the play but was later fined by the NFL.
Beckham then strained the quad in practice. The two injuries are said to be unrelated. Beckham was able to play the following game versus the Bears after the contusion. He has not been able to play since the strain.
