
The New York Giants on Thursday reached into their past to add a player for their future, announcing the signing of cornerback Michael Hunter to a reserve/futures contract.
Hunter, 6-0 and 192 pounds, played two games in 2016 and four in 2017 for the Giants. Since being waived by the Giants he has spent time on the practice squads of the New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans. He was on Denver’s 52-man roster for a pair of 2017 games, but was inactive.
The Giants have now signed 12 players to reserve/futures contracts. They are:
