The New York Giants are reportedly set to element ways with functioning again Jonathan Stewart.
Signing a two-12 months offer with the Giants for the duration of the 2018 offseason, there was a staff alternative for the 2nd 12 months. With the Giants opting to not decide on up the alternative, they will save about $2.5 million in salary cap place, for each Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.
This go was to be predicted by the Giants. With Stewart’s age, injuries and the team’s need for salary cap place, Large Blue is parting ways with the veteran.
Stewart was introduced in previous March in an effort and hard work to increase depth and working experience to the Giants’ backfield. He could not stay healthy and thus was a swing and a miss by normal manager Dave Gettleman.
The functioning again home now consists of Saquon Barkley, Wayne Gallman, Elijah Penny, Paul Perkins and Robert Martin.
